Project-Based Learning

(PBL) Project-based learning is a non-traditional approach to education that helps students with different backgrounds and aptitudes learn in a dynamic, hands-on way and promotes a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world problems. This is especially beneficial for refugee students coming from different backgrounds of education.


ALC is more than just a center for education but provides a positive impact in the surrounding community and to the families involved with health classes, English classes, an annual Christmas program, and other community activities.
